ROT Rally Military Bike Build and Giveaway 2007

 

The 2007 Military Bike Build and Giveaway was a huge hit at the 2007 Republic of Texas Rally. Over 3000 Soldiers and Veterans stopped by the Lightning Cycle Works booth in the Thunderdome to check out the build and sign for the Military Bike giveaway !

 

 

Lightning started the build early Thursday morning with a freshly powder coated frame and lots of parts to install before 6 pm.
The 100 inch Revtech Engine and the transmission were the first parts to be installed.

Lightning works on installing the primary drive and covers to keep up the pace of the build.
Bike Painter, Bud Haught of BH Designs looks on as Lightning Installs the chopper's 10" over Chrome Wide Glide front end.
The Custom Lightning wheels made by Dan Shipman @ C-MFG are installed next. COOL!!!
Here are parts BH Designs were waiting for. The custom painted sheet metal is being installed! Thanks Bud! Awesome!!!
